Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

  1. Differentiate ventilation from perfusion deficits in the pulmonary circuit.
  2. Differentiate metabolic from respiratory disorders utilizing blood gas data.
  3. Identify pathophysiology of acute respiratory failure.
  4. Describe the five types of cardiorenal syndrome.
  5. Review key features of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease.
  6. Discuss treatment strategies for acute kidney injury.
  7. Recognize signs and symptoms of acute limb ischemia
